Dornoch Cricket Club reformed in 2022 after a 17 year absence with the purpose of re-establishing cricket in the region. There was a particular focus on promoting junior cricket at the grass roots level in and around Dornoch. All that remained of the old ground at Meadows Park was a worn out artificial wicket. With the help of the Trust the club has not only been able to refurbish the artificial but also install two new net lanes.
